Primo Forno Pizza Ovens

To begin with, pizza ovens are indeed a great cooking experience. Gather your family and friends around an authentic handmade pizza oven for a fun time of pizza making as well as Al Forno cooking.

In fact, only the highest quality refractory materials are used to manufacture Primo Forno pizza ovens. Tried and tested materials that really heats up the pizza oven evenly and quickly.

Furthermore, the refractory outer dome of Primo Forno pizza ovens stay cool to the touch whilst the inside of the pizza oven maintains temperatures of up to 400 degrees Celsius.
Primo Forno pizza ovens design create natural convection for even heat distribution around the insulated dome inside the pizza oven and as a result the reflective radiant heat from the live fire at the top of the inner dome heats the fire screed base therefor creating an excellent baking surface for baking pizza.

To explain thermodynamics in brief, there are three fundamental modes of heat transfer which of course are: conduction, radiation and convection. Radiant heat for example is the heat you feel coming from the sun's rays on a hot summer day. Conduction, in short, is the transfer of heat through physical contact.

In conclusion a pizza oven needs to be especially hot to bake pizza. With this in mind the temperature above all is what is most important and should be between 320-350 degrees Celsius. The pizza will be one in two minutes and, if you're really hungry, you can increase the temperature to 390 degrees Celsius in order to bake pizza in one and a half minute. In addition to making pizza you can also use your pizza oven for baking bread and oven roasts because of the pizza ovens heat retention with the door closed at the front.
